Please use the USA Hockey Courses System catalog below to locate a seminar. An official may attend any (appropriate level) classroom seminar in the country for seminar credit. Officials are not restricted to attend a class session in their home district or state. REMINDER: You must complete Membership Registration before registering for a seminar.
All USA Hockey officials must attend an annual seminar in order to be completely registered. Seminars will be held across the state, beginning in August. USA Hockey registration opens on June 1st. The seminar schedule can be seen by following the links below. *IMPORTANT* - Seminar Pre-Registration
This classroom seminar is open to Level 1 USA Hockey officials from all states and districts. Please note, you must submit your membership application as an ice hockey official at USAHockey.com prior to attending the seminar (or your attendance credit will be deleted).
Led by Michigan Referee-in-Chief Howard (J.P.) Parmentier, the Officiating Program will conduct a morning seminar for participating officials, while 10u games are played throughout the day. During the on-ice competition, new officials will have an opportunity to interact with veteran officials, who will serve as mentors throughout the process.

District: AT. State: Your State. — Select a seminar that works with your schedule. 3. Attend a Seminar. — You will need a helmet and non-goalie skates for the on-ice session. Full referee attire is not required. 4. Review Online Modules. — Log in to your USA Hockey Courses Profile and locate your online modules.
Depending on where you live, each official who attends a USA Hockey seminar must complete Seminar Registration and check-in at the seminar they attend. Seminar attendance information is then sent to the National Office where your attendance is matched up with your registration record.
