The Head Coach shall be in control of and responsible for the actions of all team personnel, including players. A team may have up to four Team Officials on the players’ bench. Only players in uniform and properly rostered Team Officials may occupy the players’ bench.

USA Hockey will provide an official team roster which defines the coaches and players on your team. ONLY players and coaches who are listed on the approved USA Hockey roster may play in games or be on the bench as coaches. WYHA’s Registrar will work with USAH and the team to establish the document.
If you select a category setting of Tier I or Tier II you will see an additional option asking if the team you are creating will be a national tournament bound team. If you select YES the NTB option will appear on the official team roster.

The organization that is using the STUDENT COACH must provide a form indicating on the team on which he/she is participating as a STUDENT COACH, and, if applicable, what team he/she is properly registered/rostered as a player. A model form is available on the usahockey.com website.
