5 gru 2019 · The Morris Area Paratransit System (MAPS) will offer a new, upgraded ride appointment system starting on Dec. 17, with a goal of increasing efficiency to provide more rides for county residents and a more flexible appointment program.
MAPs Program Technologies. Virtual Community Resource Map (VCRM) A VCRM is a customizable map used by participants in the MAPs program. Each person’s map identifies the people, places, and activities that are important to them. The map also includes their independence goals at home, at work, and in their community, and their plan to reach them.
The Age-Friendly Network. The AARP Network of Age-Friendly States and Communities network helps local leaders meet the needs of their community's older adults and prepare for the rapid aging of the U.S. population. (By 2034, America will have more adults age 65 or older than children under 18.)
