With teams from across the country competing annually, the National Tournament, long a tradition in women's lacrosse, has been become one of the nation's marquee college recruiting events. The event is open to all high school aged players, but players must try out for regional teams in order to participate.
All players must be members of US Lacrosse by April 1, 2024 prior to trying out and must provide proof of membership (#) on registration . To become a US Lacrosse member simply go online to www.uslacrosse.org . Memberships must be current through the date of the National Tournament (end of May 2024).
In the Under-19 World Lacrosse Championships, the United States has won every tournament to date with a total of eight championships. The U.S. Women's National Team has won nine Women's Lacrosse World Cups. The most recent World Cup was held in Towson, Maryland in July 2022, where the U.S. defeated Canada 11-8 in the championship.
