I finally watched “US” and I loved it. I loved the ending as well, it was very fun. However, I feel there is more to the ending than I am comprehending. So I would love to hear how the ending affected your view of the overall movie.
Even the title of the movie "Us" is really heavy-handed symbolism (United states). They look just like us but they're kept out of sight, left to eat scraps, doomed to a miserable existence and the only way out is a descending escalator.
