If you have questions or concerns, you can call us at 1-866-487-9243 or visit dol.gov/agencies/whd. You will be directed to the nearest WHD office for assistance. There are WHD offices throughout the country with trained professionals to help you.
The Employment Service (ES) provides assistance to customers with the goal of timely and excellent customer service. Should the service not address the issue, or fall short of customer expectations, customers may file a complaint asking for a review of the issue and a more satisfactory resolution.

Maryland Unemployment Insurance Complaints by Phone. If you need to reach a live claims agent to file a complaint or inquire about a claim, call 667-207-6520. Live claims agents are available from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Hours may be modified during holidays.
