Item Code: 2020-811. Brass cavalry spur that measures 4 ½” front to back and 3” side to side. The iron rowel spins, but does not make a complete circle. Some of the rowel points are worn. Strap brackets feature small “knobs” protruding on the outside surface to keep leather boot straps in place.

This pair of Civil War period brass US Cavalry spurs are in nice, complete, untouched condition. The arms, yokes and rowels all have a nice dark patina on their surfaces. Both rowels are present and turn freely, though a few of the teeth on one of the spurs are partially broken off.
