One method is to use CUPS and the PDF psuedo-printer to "print" the text to a PDF file. Another is to use enscript to encode to postscript and then convert from postscript to PDF using the ps2pdf file from ghostscript package.

8 cze 2012 · I am looking for a (preferrably open source) locally hosted UNIX command line library to take in hundreds of different document formats (doc, docx, csv, xls, txt, tiff, etc etc), and convert them to PDFs.
19 lut 2011 · It seems to be not documented, but you can easily convert text files into PDF files by using this syntax: wktmltopdf <textfile> <pdffile> wkhtmltopdf can handle UTF-8 files (unlike enscript).
