If you decide to go with PACE, you will have to find off-campus housing, and I would start looking as soon as possible. You will get a better, happier, and cheaper place is you start sooner. PACE really isn't as bad as you think and depending on the place, it can be a lot cheaper.
28 lut 2020 · My son was just admitted to the UF-PACE program, which is apparently a program where he is allowed to transition to living on campus once he completes 60 credits off-campus, mainly through UF Online. Is anyone familiar with this program?
Hi everyone, I got accepted to UF through it's PaCe program. I was planning on majoring in Computer Science but I was hoping to recieve some advice or input from anyone who has done or is currently doing PaCe, as well as those who may be majoring in CS and are in PaCe and if it is worth it or not.
I'll admit I'm not extremely familiar with the PaCE program, but assuming you are able to do all other student activities minus in-person classes, I would do exactly what you're proposing: live in Gainesville while knocking out your online courses.
Pathway to Campus Enrollment (PaCE) is a highly selective and flexible pathway that allows you to start your University of Florida degree fully online and finish it residentially, on campus.
The PaCE program offers an excellent academic experience, combining online and campus-based learning. Students selected for PaCE will complete a minimum 15 credit hours and two semesters through UF Online.
