24 paź 2021 · To avoid a gas shower when replacing hose in a fuel injection system, you will need to relieve the pressure first. You can do this on most vehicles with EFI by removing the fuel pump fuse or relay and running the engine until it shuts off. It’s then safe to disconnect the hose.
Take the two lengths of hose that come with the pump and install them onto your fuel line. Make sure to choose a location within 2 to 3 feet of the fuel tank. When you install a fuel pump, ensure that the outlet is pointing towards the engine.
