There's several meshes but yes, that's the base concept. I'm using Roblox's new mesh deformation feature, and by adding bones to each vertex of the plane mesh and then applying the Gerstner wave formula to each of the bones you get this effect :)
4 cze 2022 · I am trying to add some water to my game. It is a large map full of islands and I would like to add water to create an ocean. However, when I tried adding sea level (in Terrain Editor) it creates this inorganic water attached to the pre-existing terrain.
The Terrain Editor, accessible from the Home or View tab, lets you generate and manipulate environmental terrain through its Create and Edit toolsets. For detailed instructions on working with terrain, see the Terrain guide.
25 lut 2023 · Building Tools by F3X by GigsD4X - the whole package. my main use for this is resizing several parts individually without exploding the entire model in the process (like what it does when resizing several parts in studio)
Using the Terrain Editor, you can easily generate and edit terrain either at a voxel or region level with the option of importing a heightmap and colormap. For more precise, dynamic, or procedural terrain editing, you can also script terrain creation.
