I also have configs that allow you to use the best parts of both future MC mods, if you're interested in that (they conflict by default). I also re-created a lot of the underwater ruins from 1.13 and made some water ruins of my own using recurrent complex (and a few other mods, like chisel), if you'd like those structures.

Building underwater is safer and simpler while wearing a helmet enchanted with Respiration and having some 8 minute Potion of Water Breathings ready to drink. Note that Respiration only extends ones "breath holding" time, it does not give true underwater breathing.
