The cost of attendance (COA) is an estimate of the cost of attending UMass Boston. The Financial Aid Office assigns an estimated cost of attendance for each student that includes direct and indirect costs to attend UMass Boston for one academic year (Fall and Spring semesters).

Tuition* Course fees are included with course descriptions. These fees are typically calculated on a per–credit basis, as follows: Undergraduate Guest Student (non-matriculated) MA Resident: $466 per credit; Non-Resident: $1,143 per credit; Current Student (matriculated) MA Resident: $528 per credit; New England Regional: $924 per credit
Tuition and fees are subject to change and typically increase between 3-5% annually each Fall semester. Fees do not include accommodation or meals. Program fees include: Tuition and orientation program. Full access to UMass Boston facilities (campus center, library, athletic center, computers, health services, etc.)
