9 wrz 2013 · so I got an umarex steel force and its great... until it stopped working, I pull the trigger and nothing happens, put in new co2 and still nothing any idea whats wrong? and can I fix it myself? thanks
Phil: My Steel Force just stopped working...pulling trigger does nothing. Thinking about trying to fix it myself since it is out of warranty and Umarex was less than sympathetic to my problem. Have heard it requires "special" tools to disassemble.
Looks like it's missing the left side of the gun. I just removed the 6 round burst parts (the clock/ratchet and parts directly attached to it) and made mine Full-Auto. They are not durable guns so be ready to constantly take it apart and reassemble which is quite difficult.
Once you apply enough force to overcome the spring in the plunger, the trigger releases the sear and the gun fires.... In conjunction with the polished surfaces, which slide very smoothly, the trigger breaks like glass.... Every QB trigger I have worked on, I have done this simple mod....

It's really fun to shoot when it works! It just doesn't work half the time. What others should know: Yeah... they should choose to go another route entirely if they actually want a BB gun that shoots dependably and reliably. Just don't. I am currently working with Pyramid's Customer Service on exchanging mine for something far more reliable.
