While we still recommend always using the latest version of UltiMaker Cura for the best print results, new Cura versions no longer contain any updates to the firmware for the Ultimaker 2+. In order to install the latest firmware on your printer, follow the steps described below.
Select your printer, ensure it is active, and select Update firmware. Note: Do not disconnect or power off the printer until the firmware update has finished. All listed printers are discontinued and no new firmware versions will be released or included in newer versions of UltiMaker Cura.

If your computer is connected to the Internet, MakerBot Print should automatically download new software when an update becomes available. However, if you are experiencing issues with your prints, it is always a good idea to confirm that you have the latest version of MakerBot Print.
