5 lip 2023 · The superficial branch of the ulnar nerve supplies sensory innervation to the anterior aspect of the ulnar 1½ digits (little finger and half of the ring finger) and medial palmar skin. Additionally, it provides motor innervation to the palmaris brevis muscle in the hypothenar region of the hand.

18 wrz 2024 · The radial, median, and ulnar nerves provide cutaneous innervation to different areas of the hand. The radial nerve supplies the posterior hand, while the median nerve innervates the anterior hand and lateral digits. In contrast, the ulnar nerve innervates the medial hand and pinky finger.
Learn about the innervation by the median and ulnar nerves and the cadaver demonstration of muscle actions. Test your knowledge of hand anatomy with our interactive quiz and flashcards, covering muscles of the hand and nerves.
Explore the functions and origins of specific hand muscles, as well as their innervation by the median and ulnar nerves. Gain insights into the unique actions and features of the thenar, hypothenar, lumbricals, adductor pollicis, and interosseous muscles.

4 paź 2024 · Dorsal cutaneous branch – innervates the dorsal surface of the medial one and a half fingers, and the associated dorsal hand area. At the wrist, the ulnar nerve travels superficially to the flexor retinaculum, and is medial to the ulnar artery. It enters the hand via the ulnar canal (Guyon’s canal).
