UASC operates five training groups whose members vary by age, physical ability, emotional development, and have a commitment to competitive swimming: Bear Cubs. Beginning competitive swimmers typically in grade 3 or younger.
Todd Saltus has been the head coach of the Upper Arlington Swim Club since 1998. He is a graduate of Upper Arlington High School and DePauw University. At UAHS, he was the captain of both the swimming and water polo teams, and earned the prestigious designation as All American.
