Web Printing is a way for EXPRESS PRINTING. It offers a convenient way for users to use the uPrint service without the need to install any client software. A maximum of 10 files can be submitted via Web Printing each time and the file size limit is 10MB for each.

uPrint supports printing from notebook PCs and mobile devices within HKU campus network. For WiFi, please connect using “HKU” (“Wi-Fi.HK via HKU” and “eduroam” are NOT supported).
uPrint service is a central print-any-where service that operates based on a quota-based system*. It supports printing from desktop PCs, notebook PCs and mobile devices within HKU campus network. For WiFi, please connect using “HKU” (“Wi-Fi.HK via HKU” and “eduroam” are NOT supported).
Library users can purchase or top up printing units using the uPrint App (HKU staff/students only) or at any Add Value Machines with an Octopus card (all users) in the Libraries. AVMs can be found next to 2/F Lending Services Counter and 3/F Techonology Zone.

At Library PC: Run the uPrint Print Client from the Windows Desktop. Login by using HKU Portal a/c or Library a/c. Send print by selecting one of the uPrint print queues.
uPrint is a print anywhere service. For print jobs submitted via the print queue “uPrint BW”, users can collect from any black and white uPrint printers. For print jobs submitted via the print queue “uPrint Color”, please collect from any uPrint color printer.
