UIDAI is mandated to issue an easily verifiable 12 digit random number as Unique Identity - Aadhaar to all Residents of India.
Aadhaar Enrolment and Mandatory Biometric Update is free. No charges are applicable for Form. In case of Correction/ Update, provide your Aadhaar Number (UID), Full Name and only that field which needs Correction/ Update. Please follow the instructions overleaf while filling up the form. Use capital leters only.
You can apply for update/correction of your Aadhaar Card data online. This service is provided by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). Users can update details such as name, gender, date of birth, address and mobile number. The request for correction/update can also be sent by post.

Resident may choose to open a new Aadhaar enabled bank / POSB account or can link existing bank account to Aadhaar number. Relevant details as requested may be provided.
