  1. Ren'py will give a strong sense of development of skills. I cannot say that Tyrannobuilder will do the same (or not do the same). So this comment is really just an indication of what I think you can expect from a standing start with Ren'py which I think is a good tool for developing Visual Novels.

  2. 20 lis 2017 · Tyranobuilder is more intuitive at first sight, just like peolple keep saying Ren'py is so "easy" compared to VNM. If you only want to do simplest visual novel, with default template, these two might suit you.

  3. For Visual Novels, there's really no engine that comes even close to RenPy. Not just because of features, but because it has an enormous community around it that will answer virtually any question you have as well. RenPy also only requires the most basic of programming to make a simple VN.

  4. Now, I like all 3 for different applications, but for pure VNs I think Ren'Py is the best choice if you're willing to commit to learning it and how it works; but if you just want to build something really quickly with little customization, then Tyranobuilder could work for you.
