Marginal Revolution is the blog of Tyler Cowen and Alex Tabarrok, both of whom teach at George Mason University. MR began in August of 2003 and there have been new posts daily since that time.
Tyler Cowen (/ ˈ k aʊ ən /; born January 21, 1962) is an American economist, columnist, and blogger.He is a professor at George Mason University, where he holds the Holbert L. Harris chair in the economics department. [2]With Alex Tabarrok, he co-authors the economics blog Marginal Revolution.Cowen and Tabarrok also ventured into online education with Marginal Revolution University.
MRU (along with Tyler and Alex’s popular economics blog, Marginal Revolution), takes its name from a transformational era of economic thought. During the 19th century economists like Walras, Menger, and Jevons formalized marginalism theory.
