2 lut 2004 · Howdy Folks, I am wanting to wire my passive Jazz bass to just one volume knob with no blend or tone control. Can I just wire both pickups to the same lugs and expect it to work?
25 lip 2013 · I want to be able to basically mix the signal of two pickups together using seperate volume controls for each (probably tone controls for each in there as well, tied to corresponding volume pot). Simply wiring them to the same output just does not work as it puts them together in a parallel circuit and everything gets crazy at that point.

22 paź 2021 · I have the body routed for two soapbar P-90s, one volume knob, one tone knob, and a three-way blade switch (and a jack on the side like an LP, not on top like a strat), no pickguard. Also I am having them install a wrap around (Faber TPWC) tailpiece and studs that I already sent them.
This wiring allows you to get tones similar to humbucking pickups, as well as single coil combinations not normally available. You even get thin, pawn shop guitar tones! All done without permanently altering your guitar. A GUITAR TECH CRAIG FAVORITE.

11 maj 2003 · If you were absolutely determined, this could be made to work, without summing resistors, using two separate tone/vol circuits and two separate outputs - one for each pickup a la Billy Sheehan - into an active mixer or bi-amp set-up. More trouble than it's worth likely but, if I have the parts...
