20 lip 2013 · Use whatever you normally use. I play everything 1/2 step down and use 9s although I prefer the heavier bottom sets, but I prefer those in standard tuning. There isn't that great of a difference between standard tuning and 1/2 step down, although I prefer the 52 on low E for Drop D stuff.
25 sty 2003 · As noted above, the amount of times you turn a tuning peg has nothing to do with the actual note you're going for. Based upon a number of factors: -Not all tuning pegs have the same gear ratio (1:12 or 1:16 etc.)- that means 12 turns of the knob for one full turn of the peg.
