Skins is a British teen drama created by father-and-son television writers Bryan Elsley and Jamie Brittain for Company Pictures. The fifth series began airing on E4 on 27 January 2011 and ended on 17 March 2011.
Liv hooks up with a boy, Matty, and they spend the day without commitments.
Series 5 introduces the "third generation" of characters, which are featured in both Series 5 and Series 6. In terms of the show's continuity, Series 5 begins 3 to 4 months after the end of "Everyone" (episode 4.08), as a new academic school year has already been in session for three weeks.
