TV Guide On Screen. A separate IPG system, TV Guide On Screen, was a brand name for Guide Plus+, a build of software featured in products such as televisions, DVD and digital video recorders, and other digital television devices providing on-screen program listings.
With TV Guide’s first national edition, using the “Lucy’s baby” cover, a long and profitable relationship began between the weekly magazine and Lucille Ball. Lucy, of course, wasn’t the only star in the TV constellation in those years, and TV Guide would use them all.
