Here comes a new release of Turbo Boost Switcher, version 2.11.0. It’s already available for download both free and pro version. I’ve been waiting for Monterey to become final to be sure it’s fully compatible without any issues, and since even previous version worked just fine, here we go!

TL;DR - If you're worried (overly paranoid?) about temperatures and longevity like I am, use Turbo Boost Switcher Free and disable Turbo Boost permanently. Buying the Pro version of TB switcher and Macs Fan Control like I did to use the Auto Mode isn't worth it because Turbo will be off most of the time anyway.

21 lut 2020 · Turbo Boost Switcher Pro is only $10 and after using the free version for about 10 minutes, I gave the developers their money. You get free updates for life for that $10 so why not? At its simplest, you get a switch that allows you to turn off Turbo Boost.
