7 maj 2023 · Recently did the update of TBS Pro to 2.12.0 and since then I am asked for the admin password and the icon that shows boost on/off seems to lag or be opposite of the actual state of turbo boost. The password is required each time on switching on/off as well as any wake from sleep or restart.
Macs Fan Control was set to activate the fan at 65 degrees and max out at 85 degrees, while Turbo Boost Switcher was set to disable at 3500 rpm fan speed and re-enable when fan speed dropped below 2800 rpm. Here are some test results:

Here comes a new release of Turbo Boost Switcher, version 2.11.0. It’s already available for download both free and pro version. I’ve been waiting for Monterey to become final to be sure it’s fully compatible without any issues, and since even previous version worked just fine, here we go!
