I just got the new tuft and needle mint hybrid king mattress and it feels very firm, with good edge support and a small amount of give. Maybe 7-8/10 firmness. It's too firm for me as a lightweight side sleeper, but it may work for you. It's mostly coils but has some memory foam.

Consumer Reports liked it pretty well; they gave it an overall rating of 74 (top foam rating was Casper at 79) and a durability rating of "Excellent" - based on a simulated 8 years of life. Whether that means that you will like it is another question, of course.
