26 mar 2021 · I want to add a meter to be able to check the bias on my amp ( yes I know its not adjustable). I bought a pair of small 100ma meters. Is the attached drawing the right way to connect them?

17 kwi 2020 · The question is if you are using one meter per tube, or pair, or one for the whole amp. as you have individual bias for each tube. If you want to use the meter you pictured you would have to change the circled resistors to 1 ohm to use the following schematic, measures to 100MA per tube, the meter is turned off while playing.
