There's a sub-page in Rift's account management that allows you to link your Rift account to like, Playstation, Xbox, etc. Steam is not presently an option. They've probably linked the account via email which makes one wonder how they pulled this off in the first place... collaboration with Steam at some level, certainly.
Using your web browser, navigate to the account management page (https://store.trionworlds.com/account/profile/manage-game) and click 'Sign in'. Log in using your email and password that you use to log into the game. Click 'View' on the game you are attempting to modify.
