11 mar 2023 · Thanks to DNA analysis, researchers are unlocking secrets about their genetic legacy of the ancient Levites and adding a new chapter to Jewish history! The biblical Levites were a group of people from the tribe of Levi set apart for religious service in ancient Israel.
The test includes a detailed historical, archeological, and paleogenetic background on the ancient Levites, including how they lived, their cultic practices and mysticism, treatment of others, and deeds. A detailed profile is available for every ancient tribe member.

The Tribes of Israel: Levi. The genomic quest to trace the origins of Levites is over 20 years old and launched the field of genetic genealogy. The first studies relied on a small number of markers on the Y chromosome of people who considered themselves Levites.
