I recently just tried to buy shoes off of a site that I didn’t realized was sketch. The website “shoesbus.us”, took me through a PayPal link, entered email and password. Saw that my charge was going to an odd merchant’s email. Researched the site turned out to be a scam site.

19 wrz 2023 · Scammers behind Outlet Store use spam emails and social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok to promote the site and lure in victims. This fraudulent site uses incredibly low prices and stolen product images to entice unsuspecting shoppers.
It seems barefoot shoes are lucrative enough for scammers to attempt to steal people's money. Their websites look very convincing. I've never been scammed but the comments sections in this subreddit show that other people have been unfortunately duped.
