It would also work as a convenient trigger unit for your electronics, and/or as an easily-miked studio tool. It's perfect for practice in confined spaces and for lugging along to rehearsals.
I’ve found that cymatics kits are garbage (imo) for normal trap, but I’ve gotten into hyperpop/EDM recently and it’s perfect. Just gotta have creativity. And nick Mira drumkits are only useful for clap/snare sounds.
