16 cze 2020 · Abstract. Hypertension is one of the most common cardiovascular co-morbidities after successful kidney transplantation. It commonly occurs in patients with other metabolic diseases, such as diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia, and obesity.
In 2022, transplant rates were highest for candidates aged 12-17 years (47.2 transplants per 100 patient-years), followed by candidates aged 6-11 years, 1-5 years, younger than 1 year, and 18 years or older (41.5, 36.5, 17.9, and 12.4 transplants per 100 patient-years, respectively) (Figure KI 112).

1 lis 2022 · Introduction and background. Transplantation (or grafting) is a surgical or medical procedure involving grafting cells, tissues, or organs from one body part to another, thereby substituting or repairing the damaged, missing, or diseased cells, tissues/or organs.
Figure 2.2 shows the number of patients on the kidney transplant list at 31 March 2023 for each transplant centre. Manchester has the largest active transplant list with 435 patients registered for a kidney transplant. Figure 2.3 shows the total number of kidney transplants performed in the last ten years.
Type II: Sudden unexpected irreversible cardiac arrest, with unsuccessful attempt at resuscitation by a medical team. Type III: Planned withdrawal of life-sustaining therapy with an expected cardiac arrest. Type IV : Sudden or planned cardiac arrest after brain death diagnosis, but before organ recovery.
