8 lip 2010 · One of my tractors is waiting for a new set of wheels for this reason. A differential lock makes the rear axle a solid bar with no differential action at all. A limited slip differential (what you are describing) uses a system to transfer power from a spinning wheel to the non spinning wheel and does allow differental action.
