I recently bought a vive tracker 2.0, and it worked perfectly initially. Now, it has randomly started to not track. I can connect and pair it to my pc, the light is green, steamvr sees it, yet it just won't track.
Same solution for me, fix tracking problem with Pro+ 1.0 lighthouse as well. Now I need a audio driver fix so I don't have to restart PC every time I use steamvr.
Tracker 2.0 battery and teardown. Hardware. I took apart a 2.0 tracker to see if there was any chance of upsizing the battery. https://imgur.com/a/oIYy7oH. There are 3 screws on the back then it just snaps together. It appears that the battery is the same as the 1.0 version.
The tracker software installs automatically when you install the VIVE software. If you already have a VIVE product installed, you may need to reinstall the VIVE software from the VIVE website or update with Steam. If this is your first time using the software, you need to run it manually.
