Although SIMBA was formerly TPG it definitely showed their business acumen. As a budding enterprise and service provider undoubtedly it has to watch its expense - thus there is no human response in terms of support number to call but their email response to queries are promptly answered.
Had such a terrible experience with TPG. Started with the finance department when they could not deduct money from any of my cards after I ported my number over. Shortly after, they terminated my account along with my number... without warning me. I didn’t get a reply to any of my emails.
So is the TPG Singapore mobile plan worth it? To sum up my feelings about TPG Mobile, I’d say that it’s very good for something that’s free, but that it’s also free for a reason. If you sometimes burst your data limit, it makes a good backup SIM card if you have a dual-SIM phone. Or just use it with your iPad or some other secondary device.
