  5. 2 mar 2023 · The Archer range is a different beast, they are primarily replacement routers to use instead of your ISP router. The are configured as a SOHO router and tend to be more fully featured compared to deco, few more features and web GUI driven, but harder to setup overall.

Even after optimizing it with a TP-Link member I couldn't get better speeds than my 8 year old router. Straight to the garbage bin!

  7. I'm looking for a new router to match the speeds. I've seen so many good reviews about the Archer AC1200 C6. It's around 2.5k on Amazon. But the price of AX1500 is around 3.5k on Amazon. It has Wifi 6 and I can extend my budget to get it.
