Burning shall be allowed from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM daily unless otherwise stated by the fire dept at (928) 358-1228. The burning material is to be observed at all times by a responsible adult until the fire is completely extinguished (no flame or smoldering material remains).

Permits are issued at The Building Department, which is located at the Taylor Town Hall. For small jobs, (Water heaters, piping exceeding three feet) you will complete a form, pay a fee, and get your permit.
Why do I need a burn permit? In most cases when burning materials in the open, an open burning permit from the Arizona Department of Environmen-tal Quality (ADEQ) is required by law (please refer to Arizona Revised Statutes § 49-501 and Arizona Administrative Code R18-2-602).
