14 sie 2023 · I've tried using an MBR boot USB (created with Rufus). I've tried different Windows 7 versions. (Home, Pro, Ultimate, 32-bit, 64-bit. I've installed Windows 7 on my other laptop as a dual-boot. I've created a recovery USB and tried to boot from that USB — nothing.

The part no (x16-96084) does not matter, as long as it is the ISO for the edition you downloaded. 17 kwi 2014 · The standard Windows 7 retail install disk will not work with an OEM product key. It will install, but when you attempt to activate it then it will fail. This is because of a file in the install disk (called ei.cfg ) which determines whether or not the disk is retail or OEM.
You can contact Toshiba and ask them to send you a set of Recovery Disks. Manufacturers normally do that for a small cost. Or download the correct ISO file and make your own disk and use the Product Key that is on the COA Sticker.
17 wrz 2012 · The Windows USB/DVD download tool is a free utility from Microsoft that will allow you to burn the Windows 7 download to disc or create a bootable USB drive. At this point, you have now replaced your misplaced Windows install disc with either another disc or a bootable Windows 7 USB drive!
