DONNELLSON, Iowa (Sept. 10, 2022) – Tommy Elston outran the rain and his IMCA Sunoco Late Model competition in winning Saturday’s Drive For 5 finale and $5,000 at Lee County Speedway. The Keokuk hotshoe held off Nick Marolf following a restart late in the Iowa Corn Growers Association Photo Daddy 50-lapper.

Elston rolled to his sixth feature win of the season Sunday night — his fourth in the last six shows — to take a five-point series lead over Denny Woodworth into the final night of points racing Sept. 24.
6 lip 2021 · Eckrich again grabbed the lead on the restart with Tommy Elston, who started eighth, working his way to the runner-up spot. Five laps later, lap 18, the final caution of the race appeared as a tire in turn 2 was clipped onto the track to bring out the yellow.

29 sie 2021 · Johnson was 2nd, CJ Horn was 3rd, Tommy Elston came from 10th to finish 4th, which was enough to give him the track championship, with Mark Burgtorf rounding out the top 5. The final feature to take to the track was the 18 lap Roberts Tire Center IMCA Northern SportMods, with Tom Bowling Jr. and Josh Holtman making up the front row.
