QUINCY — Tommy Elston has moved another step closer to his first late model track title at Adams County Speedway. Elston rolled to his sixth feature win of the season Sunday night — his fourth in the last six shows — to take a five-point series lead over Denny Woodworth into the final night of points racing Sept. 24.
14 cze 2021 · Up next was the 25 lap Iowa Corn Growers Associations IMCA Late Model “Drive For 5” feature, with Tommy Elston and Jay Johnson drawing the front row. Elston would take advantage of his draw to jump out front on lap 1 over Nick Marolf, who started 6th and used the highside of the track to get to second.
28 sie 2022 · Tommy Elston, who started 12th, went three wide through the middle of Leal and Woodworth to grab the lead on the restart. Another caution appeared on lap 9, as Dekota Job spun in turn 4 to bring out the yellow. Elston jumped out front on the restart, only to be slowed after lap 10 was scored complete.
