Tobias Vincent Maguire (born June 27, 1975) is an American actor and film producer. He is best known for starring as Spider-Man in Sam Raimi 's Spider-Man trilogy (2002–2007), a role he later reprised in Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021).
Whilst living with his aunt and uncle in Queens, NYC, Peter acquired superhuman abilities, after being bitten by a genetically-modified spider during a high school field trip. After moving out of his aunt’s, Peter attended NYU as a science major, and adopted the persona Spider-Man to fight crime.
