biografia. Thomas Leo "Tom" Clancy Jr. urodził się 12 kwietnia 1947 roku w Baltimore. W 1965 roku ukończył prywatną katolicką szkołę im. Loyoli w Towson w stanie Maryland. Następnie podjął studia (kierunek: literatura angielska) w Loyola College (dziś Loyola University) w Baltimore; w 1969 został absolwentem tej uczelni.
