8 lis 2022 · I have got a missed call from the number +1 240-245-7199 and then a text message saying the following - "This is paige thomas with process service dispatch. And we are making our final attempt to serve a court summons to the property address attached to this phone record.
This whole thing smells of a very elaborate scam, complete with threatening to hold me to Title 18 Sec 1501, which is for an assault on a process server?! They claimed they attempted to serve me in person at the address i was living at in the initial suit frpm 2007 and also claimed they mailed me at my current address in Florida 45 days ago.
10 paź 2023 · I occasionally will call what are clearly scams and leave a Caller ID that looks local, but when you call it it's not even a working number. Leaving the voicemail and giving the phone number to call we're working numbers.
1 wrz 2023 · A new email scam is targeting Geek Squad customers claiming their Tech Support Membership requires renewal. The email states the recipient’s auto-renewal is pending and provides a suspicious phone number to call. However, Geek Squad does not offer any Tech Support Membership or subscription services.
10 lut 2014 · Leaving a phone message or even talking with you in person on the telephone is not proper service. If this is a civil complaint, the person(s) filing the complaint must provide you with a copy of the formal complaint that was filed with the court.
29 lip 2024 · Report the scam to Geek Squad or the legitimate company that the scammers are impersonating. You can usually find contact information on their official website. Consider reporting the scam to the appropriate authorities, such as the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
