28 cze 2016 · I've consulted the Atak website to see that the zimmerit offers replacement parts for the mantlet, muzzle if you so wish to canvas cover it and various ports etc. so if anything I can definitely begin the lower hull today and get my head around the German over-engineering.

The parts will only build a “late” Tiger with zimmerit, steel wheels, and the Panther-style cast cupola. The kit accommodates most of the potential changes prior to June 1944 (when the turret roof was redesigned) by clever use of “blind” mounting holes for separate details, so removing a detail is as simple as not drilling out the holes.
18 cze 2024 · Here's where Step One gets you – the Zimmerit makes its first appearance and does NOT disappoint. Check out the fan detail! You’ll have to deal with a few injection marks, but a little putty and sanding takes care of that.

3 kwi 2018 · If you are looking for the ultimate Tiger, this one might not be for you – the two-piece barrel is bordering on the insulting nowadays, and the Zimmerit structure is just too perfect. There is absolutely no interior, and the tracks will need replacement if you are halfway serious about the topic.
