They are absolutely a scam & affiliated with several other scammy ticket sites like megaseats. They are arbitraging the ticket buying process - selling tickets for a high price long before the concert or event, and then buying low-price tickets at the last minute to fulfill those orders.
Trainline itself is not a scam, but it hosts ads that are. I tried to book a train return ticket via them in August 2023, and after entering the outbound journey, 'Continue' was there and I clicked on it.
15 sty 2023 · Weirdly enough it loads up on the Ticketmaster App. However the receipt is Ticket Fullfillment Services, LLP. All ticket agencies are scammy including Ticketmaster. It seems that all ticket agencies are actually private ticket scalpers who are price gouging.

If you think you’ve bought a ticket from a scam website, you should report it to the police. You can also report it via the action fraud website, at www.actionfraud.police.uk . You may not get your money back, but you can try and prevent this site being used by others.
DO NOT USE MY TICKET TRACKER - SCAM. I have purchased 6 tickets to the Kenny Chesney concert at Busch Stadium in St. Louis. I paid $1556 for 6 tickets in November 2019 for a June 2020 show. The show was postponed to 2021. In 2021 Kenny Chesney determined to postpone again.
