The sixth series of Thomas & Friends was first broadcast in September 2002. Michael Angelis and Alec Baldwin narrated the twenty-six episodes for the UK and US respectively. Angelis also narrated two episodes for the US release of New Friends for Thomas and Other Adventures.

When a branch knocks away Peter Sam's whistle, Duncan teases him, and boasts that any proper engine has a whistle. To prove his point, Duncan starts whistling loudly, but it comes loose while he is delivering an organ.
Faulty Whistles is the twenty-sixth episode ever made in Season 6. Peter Sam is delivering some goods, but on the way home, his whistle is knocked off by a branch. Duncan laughs and sets off with his goods.
21 paź 2002 · Duncan becomes cross while he sets off with his goods because he thinks the other engines are jealous of his whistle. On the way, he whistles at some sheep, but they are too busy eating to pay attention. Duncan becomes frustrated and thinks he needs to whistle louder and longer.
