Theodore Nott[6] (b. 1979/1980) was a pure-blood[2][3] wizard who was a Slytherin student in the same year as Harry Potter at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He came from a family of Death Eaters and supporters of pure-blood supremacy.
He doesn't give Harry a dirty look for outing his father as a Death Eater in OotP, unlike Draco, Crabbe, and Goyle. I actually went back and double-checked. I was surprised. While Nott is noted as to be with Malfoy and the others--which is rare in itself--Nott isn't mentioned as doing anything else.
Here’s a quote of JKR talking about writing the scene: J.K. Rowling said she knows a great deal about Theodore Nott which she never put into the books, although she wrote a scene of Nott at Malfoy Manor talking about how Harry was able to defeat the Dark Lord.
While (presumably) intelligent and a pure-blood supremacist, he didn't really seem all that pro-Death Eater other than being loosely affiliated with Draco's gang. As for Theodore Nott, for all we know he could've been one or at least a sympathizer.
17 lip 2021 · Theodore Nott (Slytherin, 1991-1998) is the son of the Death Eater Nott (PS7, OP26). Theodore is described as “weedy-looking” and “a clever loner who does not feel the need to join gangs, including Malfoy’s” (JKR).
Nott was able to avoid being sent to Azkaban after the downfall of Lord Voldemort in 1981. An elderly widower, Nott raised his son, Theodore, after the death of his wife sometime before 1991.
