Beaumont Park was the first public park to be opened in Huddersfield and is situated between Lockwood, Crosland Moor and Netherton. The park combines an upper area of traditional grass lawns with flower beds and a partly landscaped lower section which descends steeply through the rocky woodland known as Dungeon Wood.
